These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Metalagro Ltd, a private limited company registered in Bangladesh (Business Identification Number 000457843-0101), with its registered office at PBL Tower, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh, which operates HotPlot ("HotPlot", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the HotPlot website at hotplot.ai, our progressive web app, and all related services, content, and features (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, purchasing Coins or VIP, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our [Privacy Policy](https://hotplot.ai/p/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and age requirement
1.1 HotPlot features mature themes intended for adult audiences. You may only use the Service if you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. When you confirm your age on entering the Service, you represent that this is true.
1.2 You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the country where you live or from which you access the Service, or if we have previously suspended or removed your account.
1.3 We may, but are not obliged to, take steps to verify your age. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access at any time if we believe a user is under 18.
2. Your account
2.1 Registration. You can create an account with an email address and password, or through a supported third\-party sign\-in such as Google or Telegram. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
2.2 Security. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us immediately at support@hotplot.ai if you suspect unauthorised use. We are not liable for loss caused by unauthorised use of your account that you could reasonably have prevented.
2.3 One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts, share an account, or transfer an account to anyone else. Concurrent streaming is limited to the number of devices shown in the Service (currently two).
2.4 Guest use. Some content can be previewed without an account. Guest watch progress is stored on your device and may be lost.
3. The Service and content
3.1 What we provide. HotPlot streams short\-form serialised drama ("Shows") produced by us, licensed from third parties, or submitted by independent creators through the HotPlot Creator Program.
3.2 Licence to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non\-exclusive, non\-transferable, revocable licence to stream Shows through the Service for your own private, non\-commercial viewing. All other rights are reserved.
**Restrictions.** You must not:
- download, record, screen\-capture, copy, or redistribute any Show or part of one, except where the Service expressly provides an offline feature;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with playback protection, access controls, previews, or paywalls;
- use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service, claim rewards, or complete advertising sessions;
- reverse\-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
- use the Service for any commercial purpose, public performance, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights;
- upload or transmit malicious code, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
3.4 Availability of Shows. Shows, episodes, languages, subtitles, and video quality may vary by region and may be added, changed, or removed at any time, including Shows you have unlocked. We will make reasonable efforts to keep unlocked episodes available, but we do not guarantee that any Show will remain available for any period.
3.5 Content standards. Shows may contain mature themes, strong language, violence, and sexual situations appropriate for adult audiences. The Service does not host pornographic content. If you believe content violates the law or these Terms, report it through Help & Support.
4. Coins
4.1 What Coins are. "Coins" (also shown as "Credits") are a virtual balance used to unlock episodes and Shows within the Service. Coins are a limited licence to access content on the Service. They are not money, currency, property, or a stored\-value instrument; they have no cash value; and they cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
**Types of Coins.** Your balance may include:
- Paid Coins — purchased with real money. Paid Coins do not expire while your account is active.
- Bonus Coins — granted free of charge, for example as a purchase bonus, first top\-up bonus, VIP monthly allowance, daily check\-in, referral, milestone, or promotional reward. Bonus Coins may carry an expiry date shown in your wallet and are spent before Paid Coins.
- Sponsored Coins — granted through advertising or partner promotions, subject to the terms of that promotion.
4.3 Prices and packs. Coin packs, prices, bonus amounts, and any per\-user or monthly purchase limits are shown at the point of purchase and may change at any time. Changes do not affect Coins already purchased.
4.4 Spending Coins. When you unlock an episode or a whole Show, the Coin price shown is deducted immediately and the unlock is final. Unlock prices may differ between Shows and episodes and may be discounted for VIP members. If "Auto\-unlock" is enabled, the next locked episode will be unlocked automatically when you reach it, provided your balance is sufficient; you can turn this off at any time in the player.
4.5 Promotional offers. Limited\-time offers (including first top\-up bonuses) are subject to the conditions, timing, and eligibility shown in the Service. We may end or modify a promotion at any time. Bonus Coins granted under a promotion may be revoked if the qualifying purchase is refunded or reversed.
4.6 Balance adjustments. We may adjust your balance to correct errors, reverse fraudulent or mistaken transactions, or comply with a refund or chargeback. If your balance goes negative as a result, we may suspend unlocking until it is restored.
5. VIP membership
5.1 What VIP is. VIP is a paid membership for a fixed period (for example one week, month, quarter, or year) that provides the benefits described at the time of purchase, which may include: watching VIP\-included Shows without spending Coins, discounts on Premium (exclusive) Shows, higher video quality, and a monthly allowance of Bonus Coins.
5.2 No automatic renewal. VIP is a one\-time purchase for the period shown. It does not renew automatically and we do not store or charge your payment method again without a new purchase. When your period ends, VIP benefits stop. Purchasing VIP again before expiry extends your membership from the current expiry date.
5.3 Premium Shows. Some Shows are marked Premium or exclusive. Depending on the Show, Premium episodes may be available only to VIP members, may require Coins even for VIP members (at a discounted price), or both. The applicable rule is shown on the paywall.
5.4 Changes to benefits. We may change the Shows included in VIP and the benefits offered for future purchases. We will not remove core benefits from a membership period you have already paid for.
6. Advertising and rewarded unlocks
6.1 The Service may display advertising. Where offered, you can watch a rewarded advertisement to unlock an eligible episode without spending Coins. Rewarded unlocks may be limited per day, may be temporary (for example valid for 24–72 hours), and are available only for episodes we designate.
6.2 A reward is granted only when the advertising provider confirms that the ad was completed. Using automation, ad blockers that spoof completion, or any other method to obtain rewards without viewing the advertisement is a breach of these Terms and may result in loss of rewards and account termination.
6.3 Advertisements are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for products or services advertised.
7. Rewards, referrals, and redemption codes
7.1 Check\-in and milestones. Daily check\-in, watch\-time milestones, and similar rewards are promotional. Amounts, frequency, and eligibility are shown in the Rewards section and may change without notice.
7.2 Referral programme. If you share a referral link, you may receive Bonus Coins when a new user registers and meets the qualifying conditions shown in the Service. Self\-referral, fake accounts, incentivised sign\-ups, spam, or misleading promotion will forfeit rewards and may result in termination.
7.3 Redemption codes. Codes are single\-use unless stated otherwise, may have expiry dates and regional limits, and may not be resold or purchased from unauthorised sources. We may cancel codes and any Coins or VIP granted through misuse.
8. Payments, billing, and taxes
8.1 Payment methods. We accept the methods shown at checkout, which may include credit and debit cards (including Apple Pay and Google Pay), PayPal, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and USDT (stablecoin) transfers. Availability depends on your country and device. Payments are processed by third\-party providers under their own terms; we do not store full card numbers.
8.2 Currency. Prices are shown and charged in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Your bank or wallet provider may apply conversion fees.
8.3 Taxes. Prices may exclude VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect tax, it will be shown at checkout and added to the total.
8.4 USDT payments. If you pay with USDT, you must send exactly the amount shown, on the network shown, before the invoice expires. Transfers on the wrong network, in the wrong amount, or to an expired invoice may be delayed or unrecoverable, and we are not responsible for such losses. Crypto payments are confirmed only after the required on\-chain confirmations.
8.5 Authorisation. By submitting a payment you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method and that the information you provide is accurate.
8.6 Order records. Your order history is available under Me → Orders. Contact us within 30 days of a charge if you believe it is incorrect.
9. Refunds and cancellations
9.1 Digital content — delivery is immediate. Coins are credited and VIP activates immediately after payment is confirmed. Because delivery is immediate, all purchases are final and non\-refundable, except as set out in this section or required by applicable law.
**When we will refund.** We will refund, in whole or in part, where:
- the Service failed to deliver what you paid for (for example Coins were not credited) and we cannot fix it;
- you were charged more than once for the same order; or
- a refund is required by law in your country.
9.3 Consumer right of withdrawal (EU / UK / EEA). If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By purchasing Coins or VIP you expressly request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins, which happens the moment your payment is confirmed. This does not affect your statutory rights where the content is faulty or not as described.
9.4 How to request. Submit a request through Help & Support with your order number. We review requests within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; crypto refunds are returned in USDT to the sending address.
9.5 Effect of a refund. When a purchase is refunded, we will remove the Coins, VIP period, bonuses, and unlocks associated with it. If Coins from the refunded purchase have already been spent, we may revoke the corresponding unlocks and reclaim the shortfall from your remaining balance.
9.6 Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account and remove all content and benefits from the disputed purchase pending resolution. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks will result in permanent termination.
10. Creator Program
10.1 Eligibility. Independent creators may apply to submit Shows to HotPlot. Acceptance is at our discretion and subject to a separate Creator Agreement, which governs in case of conflict with these Terms.
10.2 Your content. You keep ownership of the Shows you submit. You grant HotPlot a worldwide, non\-exclusive, royalty\-bearing licence to host, encode, subtitle, translate, promote, and stream your Shows through the Service and in marketing for the Service, for the term set out in the Creator Agreement.
10.3 Warranties. You represent that you own or have cleared all rights (including music, performers, and locations) in your Shows; that all performers were 18 or older at the time of filming and that you hold documentary proof; that your Shows do not infringe any third\-party rights; and that they comply with our Content Guidelines.
10.4 Review and removal. We review all submissions and may reject, edit metadata, re\-encode, or remove any Show at any time.
10.5 Revenue share and payouts. Earnings are calculated from Coins spent on your Shows using the share, cost basis, and rules in the Creator Agreement and shown in your Creator Center. Payouts are made in USDT to the wallet address you provide, on the schedule and above the minimum shown, after any applicable adjustments for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, or tax withholding. You are responsible for the accuracy of your wallet address and for any taxes on your earnings.
11. Intellectual property and copyright complaints
11.1 The Service, including its software, design, logos, text, and all Shows not owned by creators, is owned by HotPlot or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "HotPlot" and the HotPlot logo are our trademarks.
11.2 Copyright notices. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send us a written notice that identifies the copyrighted work, the material you claim is infringing (including its URL on the Service), and your contact details, together with a statement that you have a good\-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder and that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. **Feedback.** If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
12. Privacy
Our [Privacy Policy](https://hotplot.ai/p/privacy) explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices, including how to export or delete your data and manage cookie preferences. By using the Service you consent to that processing.
13. Suspension and termination
13.1 By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account under Settings → Privacy. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining Coins, VIP time, unlocks, and rewards, which will not be refunded.
13.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud, abuse, chargebacks, automated access, or illegal activity, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination for breach, you forfeit all Coins, VIP, and unlocks without refund.
13.3 Discontinuation. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice and, where required by law, refund unused Paid Coins purchased in the preceding period.
13.4 Inactive accounts. We may close accounts that have been inactive for 24 months or more after notice to the email on file. Balances in closed accounts are forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
14. Dispute resolution
14.1 Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@hotplot.ai and try in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.
14.2 Courts. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought before the courts described in Section 19.
14.3 Your consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer\-protection rights or your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law gives you that right.
15. Disclaimers
15.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non\-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error\-free, or free of harmful components, or that any Show will remain available.
Shows are works of fiction. Views expressed in Shows or by creators are not ours.
16. Limitation of liability
16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, HotPlot and its officers, employees, licensors, and creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service.
16.2 Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12\-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period and (b) USD 50.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Consumers in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions retain their statutory rights.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HotPlot from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or — if you are a creator — the Shows you submit.
18. Changes to the Service and these Terms
18.1 We may change the Service, prices, Coin packs, VIP benefits, rewards, and available payment methods at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already completed except as described in these Terms.
18.2 We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email, in\-app message, or a notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service before the changes take effect.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict\-of\-law rules. The courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh have non\-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that consumers may also rely on the courts and mandatory laws of their country of residence.
20. General
20.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Creator Agreement (for creators), and any offer\-specific terms shown in the Service are the entire agreement between you and HotPlot.
**Severability.** If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
**No waiver.** Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
**Assignment.** You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
20.5 Export and sanctions. You may not use the Service if you are located in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions or are on a restricted\-party list.
20.6 Language. These Terms are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; the English version prevails in case of conflict.
20.7 Apple / Google. If you access the Service through a store\-distributed app in future, the store's additional terms apply and the store is not responsible for the Service.
